FDA warns Chantix may increase risk of cardiovascular events

In 2008, I wrote a series of posts for the Gooznews blog on safety issues with Chantix (varenicline) (see here, here, here, and here). Two days ago, the FDA issued a warning that Chantix may be a associated with a small increase in cardiovascular events in patients with cardiovascular disease.
